Iran’s steel making company – South Kaveh Steel company is to conduct local tender for 150,000 MT mix of sponge iron & crashed pellets.
All the bidders can come and visit the depot area of cargoes in Bandar Abbas or refer to their website from 28 Sept-16 Oct.
This cargo will not be offered in IME (Iran Mercantile Exchange) as generally these type of by-products are sold by steel mills directly through local limited tenders.
All the bidders have to submit 5% bid bond of the total bidding price till 16 Oct. The bids shall be opened on 17th Oct.
Winner of the tender have to come to sign the contract within 85 days from awarding the business and accordingly pay the price of cargo.
Bidding price will remain valid for two months and bank guarantee needs to be valid for 3 months. All the prices quoted should be as per Iranian Rial.
Total time period that cargo to be loaded and discharged from depot area will be 45 working days. All local taxes and 9% VAT to be paid by the buyer.
