Iran’s pellet production touches nearly 29 mn t in Mar-Dec’21

Iran recorded iron ore pellet production at over 28.65 mn t in the first nine months of the Islamic Year (21 Mar-21 Dec’21), up 23% y-o-y, as per data released by IMIDRO. The country’s pellet output picked up 17% y-o-y to 3.03 mn t in Dec. Iran’s pellet production capacity was more than 66 mn t in the previous Islamic Year.
