Iran produced 7.15 mn t of iron ore pellets during the first two months of the current fiscal year (Mar-May’20), registering a 1% year-on-year fall. Mining major Golgohar was the largest producer with 2.05 mn t, followed by Mobarakeh Steel Company with 1.25 mn t. Pellet production neared 3.5 mn t in Apr – a growth of 2% on year.
