Iran’s DRI output rises by 8% y-o-y

The production of direct-reduced iron (DRI) in Iran increased by 8% y-o-y to 25.55 mn t during 21 Mar’20-19 Jan’21, according to the data released by IMIDRO. Mobarakeh Steel Company accounted for the largest share with 6.21 mn t, followed by Khouzestan Steel Company with 3.47 mn t and Golgohar Complex with 2.47 mn t.
