Iranian mill concludes 25,000 t billet export tender

An Iranian steel mill has concluded an export tender for 25,000 t of billets for mid-Oct’24 shipment. The deal was heard concluded at $472/t FOB, as per sources. Iran’s semi-finished steel exports in the first three months of the current Persian year (21 Mar-20 Jun’24) stood at 1.57 mnt, a decrease of 26% compared to the same period last year.
