An Iranian steel mill has concluded an export deal for 20,000 t of billets at $560/t FOB for early-Apr’23 shipment, sources informed. The recovery in global scrap prices and limited export allocations amidst power curbs have kept billets export prices supported. Iran’s billets and blooms exports in the first 10 months of the current Persian year (Mar’22-Jan’23) increased by 11% y-o-y to 4.36 mnt.
