Iran: Steel exports increase by 22%, y-o-y, in Mar-Nov’21

Iran’s key steel mills reported a 22%, y-o-y, rise in steel exports. Total exports reached 4.94 mn t in the first eight months of the current Persian Year (Mar-Nov’21).

  • KSC had the largest share with 1.12 mn t of exports, a rise of 18% y-o-y.
  • MSC exported 0.81 mn t of steel, up 20% y-o-y.
  • ESCO with 0.77 mn t came third, 19% higher on year.
  • Khorasan Steel Complex exported 0.06 mn t, an increase of 1,081% on year.
