Iran: Steel consumption rises 19% y-o-y in Mar-Oct’22

Iran’s steel consumption increased y-o-y in the first seven months of the current Persian year (Mar-Oct’22), according to the latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).

• Finished steel consumption increased by 19% y-o-y.
• Flat steel and long steel consumption also rose by 13% and 20%, y-o-y respectively.
