Iran: Steel consumption rises 15% y-o-y in Mar’22-Feb’23

Iran’s finished steel consumption rose by 15% y-o-y to 18 mnt in the first eleven months of the current Persian year (Mar’22-Feb’23), according to latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA). Consumption of flat steel rose by 9% y-o-y to 8.36 mnt while long steel consumption increased by 18% y-o-y to 9.36 mnt.
