Iran: Steel consumption remains largely stable y-o-y in first 11 months of Persian year

Iran’s finished steel consumption remained stable y-o-y at 18.07 mnt in the first eleven months of current Persian year (21 March-20 February, 2024), according to the latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA). Consumption of flat steel increased by 5% y-o-y to 8.80 mnt, while that of long steel decreased by 5% y-o-y to 8.84 mnt.
