Iran’s finished steel consumption fell by 2% y-o-y to 17.72 mnt in first 11 months of the current Persian year (21 Mar’24-20 Feb’25), according to latest data released by the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA). Consumption of flat steel increased by 5% y-o-y to 9.13 mnt, while long steel demand fell by 9% y-o-y to 8.10 mnt.
