The Iranian steel industry is set to reach an annual capacity 42 mn t from 37.5 mn t by Mar’21, said the chairman of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization. With the increased capacity, the country’s production output is likely to reach 31 mnt. Last year’s steel output of the country stood at 27.5 mn t.
