Iran: Steel billet, rebar prices show improvement in domestic market

Domestic billet and rebar prices in Iran have improved, driven by a recovery in the finished steel segment. Rebar prices edged up after stabilising at previous low levels.

• Billet prices rose to 302,000 Rial/kg on 5 May, up 5,000 Rial/kg from 30 Apr.
• Rebar tags edged up to 358,000 Rial/kg on 5 May, up by 3,000 Rial/kg as against 30 Apr.
