Domestic steel billet prices in Iran witnessed an increase amid disrupted DRI production due to gas shortage, increased electricity costs, and foreign exchange rate volatility. Meanwhile, rebar prices rose tracking the upward movement in billet prices, sources informed.
- Billet prices rose by 4,500 Rial/kg to 260,000 Rial/kg on 6 Nov’24 as against 4 Nov.
- Rebar prices increased by 5,000 Rial/kg to 307,000 Rial/kg on 6 Nov.
