Iran’s domestic billet prices moved up amid lower stocks at the Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) and an increase in the exchange rate (USD to Rial). Following the hike in billet prices, rebar prices also rose, sources informed SteelMint.
- Steel billet prices rose sharply by 7,500 Rial/Kg to 169,000 Rial/Kg as against the closing on 8 June’22.
- Rebar prices stood at 187,000 Rial/Kg on 13 June, a sharp rise of 6,000 Rial/Kg.
