An Iranian mill has concluded an export tender for 35,000 t of billets. The deal was concluded at around $490-495/t FOB. Prices increased by around $5-10/t w-o-w amid shortage of electricity and gas and hike in global scrap prices. Iran’s exports of semi-finished steel products totalled 5.62 mnt in current Persian Year, an increase of 9% y-o-y, according to data from Petrometals.
