An Iranian mill has concluded an export deal for 40,000-50,000 t of steel billets at around $560/t FOB for early-Aug’22 shipment. Iran’s billet export prices have fallen to a five-month low owing to cheaper offers by Russia and drop in global scrap and billet prices. Iran’s billet and bloom exports stood at 5.97 mnt in the Persian year ended Mar’22, according to data from Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).
