Iran: Domestic billets, rebars prices uptrend continues on DRI supply concerns

Iran’s domestic billets and rebars prices continued to rise owing to a shortage of direct reduced iron (DRI) in the domestic market, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billets prices rose by 4,000 Rial/Kg to 151,500 Rial/Kg as against 12 Dec’22.
• Rebars prices stood at 181,000 Rial/Kg on 14 Dec, an increase of 9,000 Rial/Kg.
