Iran: Domestic billets, rebars prices on rise amid DRI shortage

Iran’s domestic billets and rebars prices continued their upward trend. Supply of billets and rebars is limited due to a lack of supply of direct-reduced iron (DRI) in the market, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billets prices rose by 2,000 Rial/kg to 187,500 Rial/kg against 6 Feb’23.
• Rebars prices stood at 222,500 Rial/kg, an increase of 500 Rial/kg.
