Iran: Domestic billets, rebars prices continue uptrend amid supply concerns

Iran’s domestic billets and rebars prices continued their upward trend. Supply of billets and rebars is limited due to a lack of supply of direct-reduced iron (DRI) in the domestic market, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billets prices rose by 4,000 Rial/kg to 185,500 Rial/kg against 1 Feb’23.
• Rebars prices stood at 222,000 Rial/kg, an increase of 6,500 Rial/kg.
