Steel billets and rebars prices in Iran continued to rise amid fluctuations in the exchange rate and cold weather in the region. Limited billets and rebars supply due to lack of supply of direct-reduced iron (DRI) has also supported prices.
- Steel billets prices rose by 26,000 Rial/kg to 235,500 Rial/kg as against 15 Feb’23.
- Rebars prices stood at 280,000 Rial/kg on 20 Feb, an increase of 30,000 Rial/kg.
