Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices rise w-o-w amid supply concerns

Domestic billet prices in Iran rose this week, driven by supply shortages and increasing production costs. Although demand for rebar remains low, limited market inventory, caused by production constraints, kept tags elevated, sources informed BigMint.

• Billet prices rose by 7,500 Rial/kg to 274,500 Rial/kg on 30 Dec’24 as against 23 Dec.
• Rebar tags increased by 15,000 Rial/kg to 329,000 Rial/kg on 30 Dec as against 23 Dec.
