Domestic billet prices in Iran have inched up following an uptick in billet export prices. As a result, rebar prices also witnessed an increase, sources informed SteelMint.
- Billet prices rose by 500 Rial/Kg to 144,000 Rial/Kg compared to 21 Feb’22.
- Rebar prices stood at 158,000 Rial/Kg on 21 Feb, an increase of 500 Rial/Kg.
- Iranian steel mills are eyeing a hike of $5-10/t in the next round of tenders.
