Iran’s domestic billet prices remained stable on increasing market supply. Sellers are leaning towards exports because of weak demand locally. In contrast, rebar prices have risen, as most steel mills are operating at less than 50% capacity, sources informed BigMint.
- Billet prices remained stable at 243,000 rial/kg on 30 Sep’24 as against 25 Sep.
- Rebar prices rose by 7,000 rial/kg to 300,000 rial/kg on 30 Sep.
