Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices continue downtrend on weak demand

Domestic billet and rebar prices continued their downward trend due to weak demand as the Iranian market is awaiting political negotiations, formally called the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, which is to be held in Doha, Qatar, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billet prices fell by 4,000 Rial/Kg to 143,500 Rial/Kg as against the closing on 27 June’22.
• Rebar prices stood at 176,500 Rial/Kg on 29 June, a decrease of 1,000 Rial/Kg.
