Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices continue downtrend on weak demand

Domestic billet and rebar prices continue to head south on weak trading due to pressure from Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billet prices fell by 3,500 Rial/Kg to 133,000 Rial/Kg as against the closing on 25 July.
• Rebar prices stood at 161,000 Rial/Kg on 27 July, a sharp fall of 8,000 Rial/Kg.
