Iran: Domestic billet, rebar prices climb up amid supply concerns, rising costs

Domestic billet prices in Iran edged higher due to supply concerns, coupled with escalating production costs and a recent surge in the exchange rate. Despite subdued demand, rebar prices also saw an uptick for the aforementioned reasons, sources informed BigMint.

• Billet prices rose by 500 Rial/kg to 275,500 Rial/kg on 13 Jan’25 against 8 Jan.
• Rebar tags increased by 17,000 Rial/kg to 335,000 Rial/kg on 13 Jan’25 as against 8 Jan.
