Iran: Domestic billet prices rise even as rebar prices edge down

Iran’s billet prices continued to rise this week amid hike in direct reduced iron (DRI) prices. Meanwhile, domestic rebar prices decreased due to weak demand in the market, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billet prices rose by 1,500 Rial/Kg to 136,500 Rial/Kg as against the closing on 14 Sep.
• Rebar prices stood at 162,000 Rial/Kg on 19 Sep, down by 1,000 Rial/Kg.
