Iran: Billet, rebar prices rise after Eid holidays

Iran’s domestic billet and rebar prices increased after the Eid holidays. However, prices are likely to fall owing to the decline in billet prices on Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), sources informed SteelMint.

• Billet prices increased by 1,000 Rial/Kg to 158,500 Rial/Kg as against the closing on 2 May’22.
• Rebar prices stood at 178,000 Rial/Kg on 9 May, a rise of 2,000 Rial/Kg.
