Iran: Billet, rebar prices inch up on market optimism

Iran’s billet and rebar prices rose slightly, driven more by anticipation than actual demand. After an early-week dip, prices rebounded on firmer Tehran Metal Exchange trends and hopes for clarity on pellet pricing from the Iron Ore Association.

  • Billets stood at 312,000 rial/kg, up by 2,500 rial/kg on 16 Jul against 14 Jul’25.
  • Rebars were at 370,000 rial/kg, rising by 3,000 rial/kg in the same period.
