Iran: Billet, rebar prices fall amid declining global prices

Iran’s domestic billet and rebar prices continued their downward trend due to the government’s interference in reducing prices following the decline in global prices, sources informed SteelMint.

• Steel billet prices fell sharply by 5,500 Rial/Kg to 158,000 Rial/Kg as against the closing on 20 Jun’22.
• Rebar prices stood at 184,000 Rial/Kg on 22 Jun, a decrease of 1,500 Rial/Kg.
