Iran: Billet, rebar prices edge up amid domestic supply pressure

Iranian billet prices rose 500 rial/kg ($1/t) to 365,000 rial/kg ($867/t) against 19 Nov’25, while rebar gained 6,000 rial/kg ($14/t) to 436,000 rial/kg ($1,035/t).
Producers maintained control through restricted supply and cash-only sales, but softening global prices pushed more material into the domestic market.
The supply-demand gap in semis and finished steel is unlikely to persist, with the domestic slowdown set to further increase exchange availability.
