Iran: Aluminum ingot production rises over 20% in first 10 months of Persian Year

Iran’s aluminum ingot production reached 453,400 t in the first 10 months of the Persian Year (21 Mar’21-20 Jan’22), up 24% y-o-y. Iran’s aluminum production increased by 61% last fiscal and the inauguration of the country’s largest plant in the central Fars province is expected to help Iran reach the goal of producing 1.5 mnt of aluminum ingots by 2025-2026.
