An Indian state-owned primary mill has reported a recent billet export deal to Nepal, for a rake (equivalent to 2,700 t) at around $490/t exw (equivalent to $510/t CPT Raxaul border), SteelMint learned. Also, mid-scale mills’ – induction grade billets were sold yesterday at $470/t exw Durgapur (equivalent to $495/t CPT Nepal) via road delivery. As per suppliers, demand remained active and sufficient parcels have been booked for Nepal.
