There has not been a major correction in most of the Mandi's for Ingot offers today.
In Mandi Gobindgarh, Ingot is being traded at Rs 35,100/MT (Basic price), down by Rs 150/MT.
Muzaffarnagar and Ghaziabad prices also slip by Rs 200/MT at Rs 39,100/MT (Basic price, ED included) and Rs 300/MT at Rs 35,100-200/MT respectively as trading volumes in Mandi Gobindgarh remain weak.
“Goa market has witnessed a correction of Rs 500/MT. It is being offered at Rs 32,500/MT (Basic price) as sales in Goa has come down,” said a trader.
NCDEX Steel Long May '12 contract opened at Rs 33,940/MT, touched a high of Rs 34,090/MT and was lowest at Rs 33,730/MT. At 4:48 pm, it traded at Rs 33,730/MT (-260).
