Mild Steel Ingot prices hold firm on strong demand from steel mills located in U.P (Uttar Pradesh) said market participants.
” Steel mills in Gaziabad, Muzzafranagar and Kanpur are running short of ferrous scrap (due to Lok Sabha Elections). They have shifted their buying to Cental and Eastern India. Prices likely to remain firm till election gets over.” said a big steel manufacturer based in Raigarh.
Ingot at Gziabad being traded at Rs 35,200++, where as Muzzafarnagar stays at Rs 34,800-900++. (All Basic Prices)
