Ingot is being offered at high prices in locations such as Mandi and Muzaffarnagar as a number of projects, that stopped since July 2011 have started at Greater Noida (Noida Extension) after being approved by High Court.
Manufacturers quote Ingot at Rs 33,100-200/MT and Rs 36,200/MT in Mandi and Muzaffarnagar respectively (Basic prices).
According to a trader based at Muzaffarnagar, around 700 tons of Re-bar is being sold on a daily basis and that offers move up by Rs 700/MT to Rs 38,200/MT (Basic price).
