With ingot prices plunging down across India, ingot manufacturers based in Western part of country like Mumbai and Goa raise prices by Rs 500/t in last 2 days.
“Thanks for power cuts in Bangalore and Chennai, production has gone down drastically, most of traders and re-rollers are buying ingot and billet from Goa and Mumbai.Situation is expected to persist for next few weeks.”reported a local trader based in Chennai.
