Ingot prices corrected on low trading volumes

“Ingot markets are dull as trading volumes are low. There is
not much of buying due to the upcoming festive holiday all over the country on
the 5th and 6th of this month.

The labourers will be out of work and there would be no
loading and unloading of the material. Prices of Ingot are either unchanged or
have corrected marginally in the range of Rs 100-200/MT,” said market players.

Sponge Iron at Raipur remains unchanged at Rs 33,500-600/MT (Basic prices,
payment next day).

Rourkela and Chennai have shown major correction in Sponge
Iron prices by Rs 900/MT and 700/MT and are trading at Rs 32,900/MT (Basic
price) and Rs 42,000/MT (Basic price) respectively.
