Infograph: Indian Scrap Imports Rise 10% Y-o-Y in CY19

–Ferrous scrap imports to India increased by 10% Y-o-Y to 5.8 MnT in CY19 against 5.3 MnT last year.

–UAE remained the largest scrap exporter to India in CY19 at 1.03 MnT followed by UK (0.82 MnT) and US (0.57 MnT). Other major sources were Singapore & South Africa.

–Scrap export volume from Netherland & Belgium have risen by 72.8% & 61.3%.

–Export volumes seems to drop from United states by 2.4%, UAE by 1.3% and Singapore by 3.6%.
