Industrial Power Tariff increases in Rajasthan

Power tariff in Rajasthan is increased by INR 1/unit for Industrial purpose, applicable from 1 Feb’15

The Rajasthan Electricity Regulatory Commission(RERC) has announced the revised power tariff among different consumer categories. Industrial power tarrif is increases by around 19% and revised power tariff are proposed to be applicable from 1 Feb’15. The fixed demand charges were too increased for all categories.

Note: Propose to be effective from 1 Feb’15

Steel manufacturer increases MS Ingot & Rebar prices by INR 500/MT-600/MT immediately after the announcement of power hike. Currently Rebar prices in Jaipur are at INR 31,800/MT for 28 mm (Excise and VAT extra).
