Indonesian thermal coal prices remained firm this week as Indian buying appetite regained momentum amid increased power demand due to ongoing heat wave in the country. Procurement demand from Chinese buyers, however, remained weak amidst lockdown restrictions there. Thermal coal supplies in Indonesia remained under pressure surrounding Ramadan holidays.
