Indonesian thermal coal prices continued to remain firm this week amid strong Indian buying appetite surrounding a coal supply crunch. A sharp rise in prices, however, were capped amid tepid demand from China following a week-long labour-day holiday. Tight supply conditions in Indonesia also supported coal prices in the country.
