Indonesian Steam Coal Offers Remained Unchanged

Indonesian Steam coal prices are more or less stable in current week at USD 33-33.5/MT (4200 GAR), CFR India for Dec’15 deliveries.

Indonesian Steam coal spot offers remained largely unchanged for Dec’15 deliveries which have been constantly following a down trend since a year. Indonesian coal prices are stable in this week for Dec’15 deliveries. India’s most preferred Indonesian origin 4200 GAR coal offers reached at USD 33/MT, CIF at Kandla & Bhavnagar port and USD 32/MT CIF for East Coast ports. In addition, sudden growth in coal demand comes owing to climate change (winter) which currently taking center stage in India.

Meanwhile, low GCV Indonesian coal 3800 GAR is offered at USD 29-30/MT, CFR East Coast ports.

Indonesian coal offers at port

• Indonesian 4200 GAR material is offered in loaded on truck basis at INR 2,850/MT at Kandla port (VAT & CST added further).

•Vimal Coal is offering Indonesian 3500 GAR at INR 2,300/MT at Kandla port loaded on truck (all duties and clearance included).

• Currently at Gangavaram port, about 25,000 MT Indonesian 4200 GAR coal ready to sell material is offered at INR 2,800/MT.

• About 50,000 MT Indonesian 4900 GAR expected to reach at Kandla port on 22 Nov’15, material is offered by the trader at INR 2,650/MT port loaded on truck (all duties and clearance included).
