The ICI 4 index for high grade 5800 GAR coal especially used by cement sector has risen by $6/t this week and is currently assessed at $63.2/t, FoB basis while the popular grade 4200 GAR coal has moved up by $2.1/t w-o-w and is assessed at $35.6/t, FoB basis. The strong procurement from China and tight availability of cargoes at Kalimantan is making Indonesian coal prices go up w-o-w basis.
