The ICI 4 index for 5800 GAR (used by cement manufacturers) has increased this week and is currently assessed at $51.6/t, FoB basis. The landed cost of the same to India would come around $60-61/t, CFR basis (east and west ports) for panamax vessel. The popularly used 4200 GAR grade coal has inched up by $0.94/t w-o-w and is assessed at 37-38/t, CFR India.
