Indonesian thermal coal price for the 4,200 GAR grade fell for the second week in a row by $0.4/t on week to $63.5/t, as Chinese traders harboured expectations of a price correction amid increasing domestic supplies in the country. Prices for higher calorific value (CV) 6,500 GAR coal, however, rose by $1.4/t to $113/t due to reduced supply of high-CV coal globally.
