Indonesia: Tsingshan’s price hike offers support to Taiwanese mills to raise Mar’26 prices

Indonesia’s Tsingshan raised stainless steel export prices by $15/t on 24 Feb’26, adding to the earlier $30/t increase before the Lunar New Year. The cumulative $45/t rise in Feb in 304 prices has strengthened cost support for Taiwanese mills to lift March list prices. While mills remain firm, downstream service centres remain cautious on limited order inflow and concerns over high-cost inventory absorption.
