Indonesia: Steel billets exports rise by over 80%, m-o-m, in Feb’22

Indonesia’s steel billets exports rose sharply by 88.23% in Feb’22 to 0.23 mnt as against 0.12 mnt in Jan’22, as per data recently released by customs.
The Philippines was the largest importer at 0.09 mnt, followed by China at 0.08 mnt.
Also, export volumes rose 45% on the year to 0.36 mnt compared with 0.24 mnt in Jan-Feb’21.
