Indonesia: State Wealth Fund to help in early retirement of 660MW coal plant

The Public Wealth Fund of Indonesia has reached a non-binding agreement to finance the early shutdown of a 660-megawatt coal plant. The fund will be utilised to shut down Unit 1 of the Cirebon plant. Indonesia has pledged to achieve net zero emissions by 2060.
